Where dusty atmospheric conditions exist, the paint shop becomes a major trouble zone. Wet paint attracts dust & this dust shows through after baking as a un-acceptable dust defect.
Dust control begins primarily with basic housekeeping cleanness of components, operator, clothing, compressed air, paint thinner and includes also the air being supplied to tack rag zone, paint booth and flash-off zone.
The best viable method for allowing minimum dust is the use of central fresh air supply unit (CFAU).
